For 2 days, Dr. Reilly and Yvonne Short attended Laser-CCA in Richmond, VA with Nelson Marquina, MSc, PhD, DC, of USA Laser Biotech Inc. Dr. Nelson is an international authority on using lasers to treat neurogenic pain and lasers for acute pain and inflammation. Dr. Reilly has been using lasers since 2005 to treat difficult conditions such as neuropathy.
In recent years, many medical and alternative health clinics have begun including light therapies into their traditional treatment methods. One of the most popular light therapies being used is Class IV laser therapy or low level laser therapy. When tissues are damaged, cells begin to die and scar tissue formation often begins.
